Deborah Wells         Sept. 11, 1953 - Feb. 21, 2016

Deborah Kay Wells, 62, of Lorena, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016, peacefully surrounded by her family. The family will receive visitors Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Victorious Life Church.

Deborah was born September 11, 1953, in Tyler, Texas, to Elliot and Lelia Beckworth. She married her high school sweetheart, Darrell Wells, on August 11, 1972. I was blessed by having Deborah as my classmate for many years in youth. I always thought she was sweet person and dealt with adversity with grace. God grant her safe passage across the river... a trip we each must take.

Debbie will be missed by so many people that loved her. I kept up with Debbie on face book, I learned how much you loved and adored your family, each and everyone of them. Your faith remained strong and steadfast through all you went through. I remember you well, as a sweet and kind hearted young girl and this character you carried til the end. She have lefted her family and friends with a legacy of LOVE! May God comfort her family and dear friends!

Debbie & I went to school together since elementary. Then I had the good fortune to work with her at National Life Insurance Company right after Waco High for several years. She was a good friend then & we had good times at National Life. She & Darrell were high school sweethearts & from that relationship came a great family. I'm sorry we didn't stay in touch more after we both left NL to go to other careers. She leaves a legacy of faith, family & friends. I pray that the Lord will meet her family's needs & give them comfort & peace.

Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
