A classmate informed us that Tommy Little, Richfield Class of 1971, and a guest on our WHS '71 website passed away last year. Below is his obituary.
Thomas Arthur Little, Jr., 68, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, April 4, 2022, in Italy, Texas.
Thomas was born June 28, 1953, in Waco, Texas, to Thomas Arthur and Virginia (Lake) Little, Sr. Thomas graduated from Richfield High School of Waco, Texas in 1971, he went on to graduate from Texas A&M University in 1976. On June 18, 1981, he married Lori Gorman and they made their home in the Rankin Community.
Thomas worked over thirty years for Tyler Refrigeration in Quality Control. Thomas was a member of the Waco Masonic Lodge, Rankin Masonic Lodge, Ennis Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed music, guns, and the Lodge. Thomas loved his family, and they were the light of his life.
Thomas is survived by his wife of over forty years, Lori Little; daughters: Kelly Tebbe and husband, Ryan and Lauren Gillespie and husband, Clayton; grandchildren: Sadie Tebbe, Bo Gillespie, Lucy Gillespie and Olivia Tebbe; sister, Margaret Ott and husband, James; nephews: Andrew Ott and Chris Ott along with a host of extended family and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis with Bob Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be Andrew Ott, Chris Ott, Jack Kovar, Shawn Glenn, Ken Hackney, Scott Wall, Hank Hollywood, and John Morehouse. Interment will follow at Elm Branch Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Bardwell Volunteer Fire Department or The Ennis Masonic Lodge Scholarship fund.
